Cheap Single Pushchair single buggy with buggy board Pushchairs

The Babyzen Yoyo stroller is a good option if you are on a tight budget and do not need a stroller which can also be used as car seat carriers. It has a simple one-step foot brake that's flip-flop friendly.

It's also easy to push and feels solid when navigating kerbs or woodland paths. It's also a breeze to fold.

1. Babyzen YOYO2

The Babyzen YOYO2 has built a reputation as the ultimate lightweight buggy for city dwellers and jet-setters alike, due to its super nimble manoeuvrability and fold that fits in aeroplane overhead luggage. The most recent version features independent suspension on all four wheels that is made from Hytrel elastomer to 'perfectly navigate all types of surface and terrain'.

The YOYO2 frame base, curved fabric bassinet and the 6+ month colour pack come together to make a stylish and elegant single pushchair with buggy board that's easy to look at and has a subtle but elegant design and stylish branding. The base frame alone weighs just under a kilo and is so light you can lift it directly from the box (and do so one-handed).

The hood, for instance is able to snap onto the YOYO2 in a calm way. It's also machine washable at 30deg, which helps to prevent staining caused by smushed and mashed rice cakes and carrot puffs. The Newborn Pack and bassinet can be used from birth as prams. It can also be transformed into a stroller at 6 months with the YOYO connect other chassis.

2. Evenflo Pivot Xplore

The Evenflo Pivot Xplore is a great option for parents looking for a stroller that can be used in a variety of ways. The Evenflo Pivot can be transformed from a single gb stroller into an actual wagon by flipping the handle. Parents can then select the best mode for their adventure. The wagon can be used by one or two kids from 6 months old to 5 years old, and it comes with a spacious storage basket for everything you need on the go.

The Xplore has two canopies that are able to rotate from front to back, ensuring adequate sun protection for the entire family. It also has a footwell, which is not as large or deep as some wagons, so it may not be ideal for long trips or napping.

The frame of the Xplore wagon feels solid and sturdy, however, it isn't able to bend as much as some other wagons we tested. It is also more difficult than other wagons to fold and does not lock tightly once folded. It is easy to move however, and it can fit through doors with a width of 28 inches.

3. Delta Children LX Side by Side

This basic double stroller from Delta Children is an excellent option for parents seeking an affordable second stroller for their travels. It scored well in our Strollers & Multiples Test for weight and fold dimensions. This means it's lightweight, compact when folded, and easy to move and store into a car trunk. It also features an adjustable recline seat that can be adjusted in multiple positions and cup holders for the parent. Other features worth mentioning include two large hanging storage bags as well as 360-degree front wheels that absorb shock.

It did better in our push and turn test than a lot of the other strollers we tested, but it is still difficult to maneuver over uneven terrain or through narrow doors. Its sunshades were among the smallest of all strollers we test. They only cover the top, and don't have windows that peek out. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 and Zoe Twin+ have much larger canopies.

The Delta took us just over 3 minutes to put together using an average manual and all of the components required tools. It's lacking some features that we consider essential for a double stroller. This includes an extra-large basket, reclining seats and adjustable leg rests.

4. Maxi-Cosi Zelia 2-in-1

The Zelia is Maxi-Cosi's latest pushchair that is advertised as an urban travel system. The seat can be reclined using one hand and the large shopping basket makes it easy for parents to get their child in and out. Despite being a narrow pushchair it handled the everyday bumps well and went through doorways without a hitch.

The front wheels can be locked into an forward position or allow them to rotate which helps when covering rough terrain. We let the front wheels to swivel during our walk on a stony path. It handled the situation well, although it seemed a little more bumpy.

5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2

Baby Jogger is most well-known for its 3-wheeled, all-terrain, strollers for jogging. However, they also manufacture a vast variety of pushchairs that have four wheels. City Tour 2 is their most popular model. It is simple to use and folds down small single stroller enough to fit in the car boot, even with the carrycot attached.

It is heavier than the other strollers we tried, but because it has rubber composite wheels it feels sturdy and well-made. It's a breeze to maneuver across all types of terrain. It's easy to carry even with two kids and a shopping bag.

Both the seat and carrycot have hoods that are able to be lower to reveal the UV50+ sun canopy extensions. They are sturdy and waterproof, in contrast to other hoods for prams that can be blown back into toddlers faces.

It doesn't have a lot of storage space, but it does come with a huge basket that's big enough to hold a changing bag and plenty of groceries. You can also use it with a Baby Jogger car seat that is suitable for babies that weigh up to 20 pounds (car seat and adapters are available separately). The City Tour 2 is a ideal choice for those looking to take a stroller with you on the go.

6. Nuna Mixx Next

When the Nuna Mixx first rolled onto the scene, it stole the hearts of parents everywhere. It's an aluminum-framed stroller which can be used from the baby's first days to beyond. It's got a few stand-out features including the possibility of flipping the seat to be parent-facing and the world, a large UPF 50+ canopy, an eye shade that flips out, a spacious basket and adjustable handlebar.

The wheels are durable and foam-filled which minimises punctures. The chassis is equipped with built-in suspension that eases the pain of rough terrain. It was simple to push and our tester was able manoeuvre the vehicle through narrow streets.

It folds down in four easy steps, and locks automatically with no fuss. It can also stand and be carried by trolley for easier transport in the boot of your car or down the stairs at home. The travel system is available with the option of adding an additional car seat or carrycot by using the adaptors that are included. The brakes have one action and are colour coded. They also can be used with flip-flops.

7. Babyzen Duet

This budget-friendly pushchair is simple to use and comes with a fantastic dual suspension. It folds with one hand and comes with a convenient carrying strap. It's also super lightweight and durable. The seat is reclined in many positions and comes with a built-in double-breathable mattress that can be used for babies from birth.

The canopy/seat has two large fixed or flip-out sun visors. Both are UPF50+. However the toggle closure isn't perfect because it's not as quiet as Velcro and may wake napping babies.

The Duet is a side-byside stroller and can be set up to take twins or siblings (up to 22kg maximum per seat). It is compatible with two infant car seat and some carrycots. In twin mode the seats can be positioned to face one another or turn around and face the parents, theoretically decreasing sibling disputes over who gets to sit with dad and mom. It comes with a massive gear tray, bottle holder, snack trays and the ability to change mats. It also has an automatic frame lock as well as a compact fold.

8. Baby Jogger Urban Glide 2

The Thule Urban glide 2 is a great jogger for parents who love to be active.
