The sensor is used to link with the G40 Camshaft position Sensor. The ecu must know when the crankshaft is TDC and where the camshaft is located so that it can activate spark and injectors in the right way.

I tried to test the ground connections of ECU pins 14,30 and 48/55. I got 0ohm. I'm assuming that the issue is elsewhere.

I also tried to reset PID without success. The car can start when the G28 is unplugged and is running fine when it is connected however it is experiencing intermittent misfires at higher RPM. The temperature sensor for the coolant (G62) shows the wrong temperature value of that is -49c even after unplugging it. I also noticed that the gauge for oil pressure in the cockpit is showing 2 bar while the actual pressure is 0.0 when I crank up the engine.

I don't know what to do. I think I've eliminated everything else. But i am afraid I may have missed something. If anyone has any ideas please let me know! TIA!

3. Fuel Pump

The fuel pump in the g28 is activated by a signal by the RPM sensor.
